“ Wawin have great customer service, and a fantastic range of vegan food. Their base in the centre of Sheffield isn't really a restaurant, more just a couple of tables to wait whilst they prepare you're takeout! The food is tasty, and well presented. The vegan sushi is fantastically presented. ”
“ I've been a sushi lover for years. My girlfriend is veggie and I always wished i could share my love for sushi with her. Well I found the spot. Not only do they do phenomenal Chinese food in a complete vegan range, but their sushi is incredible. I never thought fake meat could be so convincing. Honestly I recommend this place to meat eating friends as a way to try surprising substitutes. Be sure to come at least an hour before close if you want sushi as it takes time to prepare and stuff. The staff are wonderful and some of the sweetest people you will meet. This is quickly becoming a regular take for us. I can't recommend it enough. ”
“ Visited Wawin after seeing positive reviews on Google. I’m not sure if it’s certified halal, however the man said no wine or alcohol is added to the food. Card is not accepted, so I had to get cash from the nearest ATM (5 min walk away). The restaurant interior isn’t the best as a lot of food supplies is stored at the front near the entrance. I asked what was popular, and the man said it’s the Vegan Chicken Chow Main and Salt and Pepper Chicken. I got the Chow Main with flat rice noodles as I have never tried this combination before. The food was delicious, and very satisfying! You get a big portion of food, and for a stir fry it wasn’t soaking in oil. I would have liked to see more steamed options on the menu, as almost everything was deep fried or pan-seared. Overall, I had a positive experience at Wawin and I recommend this place to people who would enjoy vegan and authentic Asian food! ”

The portions are big and the dishes have a good ratio of stuff-to-sauce (i.e the box isn't mostly sauce and nothing else!) Special shout out to the chow mein and chicken satay ”

We both are from South America (I'm from Chile and she's from Colombia) so we are quite familiar to meat (no stereotypes intended). They are really good for vegan, vegetarian, peacatarian or flexitarian and have good dairy free, egg free, fish free options that use mock meats and mock fish & prawns or tofu or veg if you like them more. We got the set meal for 2 and it lasted us 2 meals very good value for money. Tasty, not watery and big portions. Food was hot & well packaged for collection from their new premises will be returning to the restaurant soon. Thank you ”
